High explosives?? Burns for weeks?? Do you live in the same reality as the rest of us? Steel is the fuel used by thermite, so yes it would be red hot for weeks.

Here is a video of a Thermite reaction. www.guzer.com/videos/thermite_car.php en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thermite The only way these buildings burned this hot & long was because of Thermite & high explosives. also please explain how any of these 3 WTC buildings collapsed into their own footprint at FREEFALL speed? There is only ONE way that is possible, Controlled Demolition.

OK space cadets Thermite does not explode, it is not an explosive. It is a mixture of 3 parts Aluminium powder to 1 part iron oxides which when ignited produces iron with considerable heat - enough to melt the iron liberated by the reaction. It is used a welding agent for large or pieces of equipment too bulky to weld by gas/arc welding (the iron produced acts as the filler to bind the pieces) The military uses thermite as an incendiary to set fire to things, also as a demoltion device to destroy artillery pieces by fusing the breech block. What burned in the WTC was ordinary office furniture (desk chair, cube partitions along with massive amounts of paper) Thermite does not burn for 3 months ! Stuff smouldering underground can and does! (mine fire can burn for years!)

My theory about the arabs, planting bombs was much easier to follow! ;D
In all seriousness though, this information is really interesting, i've been glued to this thread all afternoon.

I've heard there are some transcripts from firefighters who had managed to make it upto the floor where the plane struck?
Apparently they said that only two lines were needed to regain control of the fire, then ten minutes later, the building collapsed.
Does anyone know any more about this?

My opinion on that is.. If they could hijack a plane, then why couldn't they plant bombs in the twin towers? People say they saw explosions, like that of bombs going off, but think about it, the terrorists had a plan, they were flying into those towers to cause devestation, so is it not feasible that before they took control of the planes they planted bombs on different floors of the towers? Just another theory to go with the many out there already! That should get you talking! I've thought about that before but I don't think they (the supposed terrorists) had the means, paticularly access to the buildings sufficient to set it up. It appears to me consistent with the many many reports from emergency workers and others (including the more than 500 oral histories of NYC emergency workers - explosions, flashes etc. are all through the transcripts) of multiple explosions within the buildings before and during the "collapses" that explosives must have been used but it must have been something exotic to accomplish the result. Look at the speed of the collapses and more importantly the molten metal in the ruins at least six weeks after 9/11. Who knows how this was pulled off? A real investigation would have likely shed some light.

So let me get this straight..
You expect people to believe that a huge office building that not one member of the building did not suspect a bomb or noticed anything?
Or the fact that these bombs survived a plane?
Also why did these 'explosions' occur AFTER the building start coming down?
From what I understand, you people want us 'sheep' to believe that without these 'explosions', that a building is able to survive a huge ass plan driving at high speeds into a building. You're telling me that a building will still be at tip top shape, never losening any strength, despite the huge plane, fuel, flammable materials (electricity, furniture, etc), and destroyed heat resistence?

Here are all the answers.www.tvnewslies.org/html/watch_loose_change_2_on_line.html This is the best of the many excellent documentaries raising the important questions about 9/11 Remember that there has been NO investigation into what happened. The Kean Commission only looked into the supposed intel failures, and had to work with the ridiculous official version. Bush tried hard to STOP any investigation...and after a year had to give in and form a commission with little funding and no subpoena power. Wonder why. But, don't believe me. Watch this film ALL THE WAY THROUGH. Then, come back here and tell me what proof this administration has offered to back its story. Shadow
